"Visit My Mosque" openday huge success

Sunday, March 11, 2018 - 15:04

The "Visit My Mosque" openday was a huge success and a very eventful day. We would like to thank all those who attended including the Mayor of Woking, Local MP and all of the visitors who participated from far and wide not for forget the local press. We had some lovely sunshine aswell as around 500 guest's in attendance who were taken on tours, viewed afternoon prayer, asked questions and took part in the various activities on offer. Events like this help to build better more accurate understandings of each others faiths aswell as stronger more united communities. The Mosque is always promoting outreach, intergration and multifaith work and we welcome groups on tours all year round, please contact our office on office@shahjahanmosque.org.uk to arrange a visit. Once again we would like to send our thanks to all the volunteers who helped on the day and all those who visited Britains first purpose built Mosque. See you all again soon, we will plan another open day for the summer stay tuned!
