Imam Hashmi Condemns Recent Attack On Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)

Muslims all over the world are hurt and upset that their beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) has been insulted and no authority has prevented such terrible actions. It is without a doubt that these notorious actions are ammunition to those extremists who look for such excuses to attack and kill innocent people as we have already seen. Media also plays its negative role by misrepresenting the Muslims throughout the world and targets them as terrorists who must be stopped. We should learn from the past; when such incidents occur the Muslims all over the world should protest peacefully and through the right channels so that we portray Islam as a peaceful religion. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) promoted peace across the faiths and cultures. We should try to uphold his legacy and be true ambassadors of peace. Whether it is the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) or any of the other beloved Prophets, we condemn any form of insult or attack on them as they are in our faith the chosen and elevated personalities. The people who are involved in such insults should be aware that their actions have shook the peace in the world; all authorities and governments across the world should take strict action against these peace shakers.
