Ramadan Mubarak to all of the Muslim community. Allah SWT says in the Holy Qur’an “Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you many learn piety and righteousness" (Q 2:183). This is a very special month full of mercy, forgivness and a great opportunity to reconnect with Allah SWT . We pray for peace and blessings for all of humanity and hope everyone’s prayers are accepted. During this month the Mosque is very busy with the evening Tarawih prayers which take place straight after Isha around 22:50pm. Locals are requested to walk to the Mosque and keep noise levels minimal when leaving out of respect for our neighbours. The Mosque also caters for Iftari (breaking of fast) each evening for the local community, everyone is welcome to visit. As part of the “Big Iftaar Month” we welcome the wider community throughout this month to come and break-fast with us and be taken around the Mosque as well as view sunset prayer. If you are wanting to visit the Mosque please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
