My Mosque Open Day

Sunday, February 21, 2016 - 15:26

Over 80 Mosques up and down the UK opened their doors for “visit my mosque” Day. This was a great initiative pushed by the Muslim council of Britain. The Shah Jahan Mosque opened its doors for visitors to come and have a tour around the mosque, look at an exhibition and have some refreshments with an open Q & A Session. The day was a great success with an overwhelming 300 people turning up and really learning and understanding Islam and its reality. The Mosque is open for visits all year around and we advise anyone wanting to visit to click the “visit us” tab to arrange this. We encourage everyone to come and visit the Mosque to get a real taste of daily Islamic practises and learn about the rich history the Mosque has to offer.
