Mosque Renovation Project

Tuesday, April 12, 2016 - 21:38

The Mosque hasn’t had a makeover in a long time and it is much needed especially when you get up close and see the current state of the Dome and the paint. The water feature hasn’t worked in so long and we believe the Mosque isn’t where it should be given its remarkable stature. The management have decided to have a full on renovation/decoration project take place in the coming weeks. The company we have chosen to carry out the works are called Campbell Smith and Co and are the leaders of restoration in Britain Est 1873. Their portfolio speaks for itself and can be viewed on their website. The project will consist of stripping, repainting, gilding, polishing, laying new walkways, new water features, internal painting, and internal/external repairs. The project will take approximately 12 weeks and in this time the Mosque will be out of bounds except for the Wudu area. We did have a presentation for the public and for those who couldn’t make it the slides are on the notice board or can be downloaded here. If there are further suggestions or enquiries please contact us. We will have a grand unveiling and open day once the works are complete.
