Important information COVID-19

Saturday, August 15, 2020 - 13:39

We would like to remind everyone that if you have any flu like symptoms (persistent cough, high fever, change in taste or smell) then it is really easy to get tested, (most results come back in 24 hours).

Even if you are not sure, getting a quick test is the best way to help slow the spread of the virus

If you have come in contact with anyone who has tested positive it is *VERY* important to book a test and *NOT* come to the Mosque. Please do not come to the Mosque whilst you are waiting for test results to come back.

It is really important to protect any elders that you live with, you can have the virus without even knowing (asymptomatic) and pass it on to other members of your household. So it's very important to still observe social distancing with people outside your household, wash your hands and wear face covering when required.

A free test can be booked by clicking this link and following the simple instructions:

https://www.nhs.uk/…/get-a-test-to-check-if-you-have-coron…/

The Mosque is still open as there is nothing to suggest based on Goverment guidelines that we need to take any immediate action.

We will be keeping a close eye on public health data and keeping everyone updated. However, we could close at short notice if we are advised to do so by the authorities.

We pray Allah SWT grant shifa to all those who are ill and protect everyone in the community Ameen.
