Grand Mawlid 2015

This year was the 3^rd grand mawlid at the Shah Jahan Mosque. This is the Mosques largest gathering of the year other than the days of Eid. Alhumdulillah we had the Mosque full of people rejoicing at the blessed birth of the Prophet peace be upon him. Naats were read and speeches delivered on the greatness of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. We recognise that through the traditions of the classical Islamic scholars and the way of the Prophet peace be upon him and his companions was to rejoice and show gratitude for the blessings Allah SWT has given us and the greatest blessing is no doubt the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
