Calais Aid
The Shah Jahan Mosque is dedicated to helping others as charity is a major part of our Religion. Recently in a survey in the UK it was learnt that the most charitable people are Muslims. The most recent charity venture the Mosque took part in was taking 3 trips of aid to help the refugees in Calais. Cloths, food and basic medicine were taken and distributed amongst the camps and over £10,000 was raised and spent to help people regardless of their faith in tough conditions over the channel in France. The Mosque will continue to help people struck by poverty, natural disasters and poor living conditions regardless of their faith or background as this is the teaching of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
