Education teachersThere are a number of teachers teaching in the after-school Madrasa. Shaykh Fa'iz QureshyShaykh Fa'iz Qureshy was born in Wembley - London, England. In 1998 he left the UK to study in Damascus, Syria, focusing on the Arabic language, Grammar, Morphology, Rhetoric, Tajwid and Hadith Terminology. In 2001 he studied in Tarim, Hadramaut, Yemen. Whilst in Yemen he studied several disciplines including Jurisprudence, Arabic, Logic, Legal Theory, Hadith, Theology, Suluk and Sira. Some of his teachers include Shaykh Salim b. Ahmad al-Khatib, Habib Kazim al-Saqqaf, Habib Hashim b. Sahl, Shaykh Muthanna 'Arif al-Jarrah, Shaykh Muhammad Amin al-Chinquite and the noble Habib 'Umar b. Hafiz. In 2006 he returned to the UK and began classes in Shah Jahan Mosque. Alongside this he teaches in Sussex for Crawley Educational Institute and participates in the Dar al-Arqam program run by the Ibn Abbas Institute. He resides in Woking with his wife and two children.
